Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know about our 3PL Prep Services

What is included in your 3PL Prep Service?

Our standard $0.30/unit (standard-size) prep service includes:

  • Receiving your inventory at our Rancho Cordova, CA warehouse
  • Unit count + basic inspection (visible damage / packaging issues)
  • Amazon FNSKU labeling (when Amazon requires Amazon barcodes)
  • Polybagging + required warnings when needed (Amazon requires suffocation warnings on polybags with a 5” opening or larger). Amazon Seller Central
  • Packaging and prep to meet Amazon FBA and Walmart WFS inbound standards
  • Applying your shipment/carton labels (Amazon requires each box to have its own FBA box ID label from the shipment workflow). Amazon Seller Central
If an item needs non-standard prep (oversize, fragile, hazmat, complex bundling, etc.), we’ll notify you before proceeding and quote any extra work separately.

How do I submit my inventory for prep?

  1. Buy from anywhere you source and ship inventory to our warehouse.
  2. Submit your CSV here: https://snillc.com/3pl-prep-services/
    • Amazon FBA: ASIN + Quantity
    • Walmart WFS: UPC/GTIN + Quantity (Walmart requires each sellable unit to have a scannable UPC or GTIN label). Walmart Marketplace Learn
  3. We send you payment details.
  4. When inventory arrives, we confirm receiving and request any needed labels.
  5. You upload FNSKU labels + shipping labels (Amazon) or the required labels for WFS shipments, and we prep and ship.

What fulfillment centers do you ship to?

We ship to all Amazon FBA fulfillment centers and Walmart WFS warehouses across the United States, based on the shipping labels you provide in your shipment plan.

Do you offer rush processing?

Our standard turnaround is up to 72 hours after inventory is received (standard-size). Rush processing may be available depending on workload and the type of prep required—contact us and we’ll confirm availability and pricing.

Are there any hidden fees?

No—our pricing is transparent. Your $0.30/unit covers standard-size prep and labeling as listed.

If your items require special prep beyond standard requirements, we’ll let you know before work begins and provide an itemized quote.

Also note:

  • Amazon’s barcode rules are changing: starting March 31, 2026, resellers must use Amazon barcodes (FNSKU) for new shipments, even if the product already has a manufacturer barcode. Amazon Seller Central
  • Walmart WFS requires sellable units to have UPC/GTIN labeling (not FNSKU).

Do I need FNSKU labels if my product already has a UPC?

Starting March 31, 2026, Amazon’s barcode rules change:

  • Resellers (not Brand Registry Brand Representatives) will be required to use Amazon barcodes (FNSKU labels) even if the product already has a UPC/manufacturer barcode. Amazon Seller Central
  • Brand owners with the Brand Representative role can continue using manufacturer barcodes in eligible cases. Amazon Seller Central

What happens if resellers send inventory without Amazon barcodes after March 31, 2026?

Amazon states that after March 31, 2026, inventory received from resellers without Amazon barcodes will be considered defective. Amazon Seller Central

Where do I get my Amazon FNSKU labels?

You can print FNSKU labels from Seller Central during shipment creation (“Label Products”) or from Manage Inventory (depending on your workflow). Amazon Seller Central

Where should the FNSKU label be placed?

When using Amazon barcodes, Amazon indicates the Amazon-specific FNSKU label should be placed over the existing UPC barcode so the correct barcode is scanned at receiving. Amazon Seller Central

What labels are required on Amazon shipment boxes?

Amazon requires that each box/carton in a shipment has its own FBA Box ID label, printed from your shipment workflow (in addition to the carrier label). Amazon Seller Central

Do you support pallet (LTL/FTL) shipments to Amazon?

Yes, if your shipment plan is palletized. Amazon’s guidance notes that each pallet requires four pallet labels (one on each side), which are printed from your shipment workflow. Amazon Seller Central

When is polybagging required for Amazon, and what warning is needed?

Amazon requires that poly bags with a 5-inch opening or larger (measured when flat) have a suffocation warning printed on the bag or attached as a label. Amazon Seller Central

What barcode does Walmart WFS require on products?

Walmart WFS requires each sellable unit to have a scannable GTIN (14-digit) or UPC (12-digit) on the unit packaging. Walmart also notes that FNSKU is not an acceptable product identifier for WFS. Walmart Marketplace Learn

Does Walmart WFS require labels on master cases or pallets?

Walmart WFS guidance states:

  • Each item must have GTIN/UPC
  • Each master case and pallet must have a receiving label with a shipment ID (printed from Seller Center). Walmart Marketplace Learn

Should price tags or retailer-specific stickers be removed for Walmart WFS?

Yes. Walmart WFS guidance notes that price tags, item labels, and retailer-specific labels should not be on the item packaging. Walmart Marketplace Learn

What if my barcode labels are blurry or won’t scan?

Amazon lists unreadable/missing labels as a common inbound issue (for example, printing problems like low ink can impact scanability). Use clear, high-quality prints and correctly applied labels. Amazon Seller Central

Can I ship inventory from any supplier?

Yes — this is a separate prep service. You can buy from any supplier/wholesaler/distributor and ship products directly to our warehouse for prep before they go to Amazon FBA or Walmart WFS.

Can you help if I can’t submit the CSV?

Yes. If you have trouble uploading the CSV or have questions, just contact us and we’ll help you submit the information correctly.
